Oak, Red - Red Oak is absolutely gorgeous. A strong and long lived outdoor lumber your critter will not wear out. In time the grain will physically become more pronounced giving your birds a very sound grip.
Black Cherry - Cherry is a lumber in a class all its own. Often reserved for furniture, cabinetry, etc..., cherry crafts an amazing feeder. Not the longest lasting outdoor lumber but there is no equal in its beauty. ENJOY!
