Solid Brass or Brass Plated Hinges and Hardware:
Brass hardware is just plain beautiful but also lasts for years.

Acrylic Sheeting:
We use several different thicknesses of acrylic to suit the feeder. Thinner acrylics are used for finch feeders allowing your finches to feed easier. Thick acrylics are used on large feeders retaining a lot of feed so it doesn't bow out and distort.

Pre Drilled Screw Holes:
Every single screw hole in your new feeder has been predrilled. Without predrilling, your feeder would slowly fall apart due to the wood splitting under the pressure of the screws. This is the reason that other companies use staples and nails. It saves them time and money but staples and nails do not have the holding ability of a good quality brass screw.

Integrated Rope Mounting:
In order to retain our beautiful designs, we have come up with ways of mounting our hanging ropes which both hide the rope mounts and divert rain water away from the seed hoppers.  As you can see from the photo below of our Finch Feeder, we have bored a hole in the sides and installed the rope into it.  This is all held together with a brass screw through the wood into the rope and back through the wood. Is it strong? Absolutely! We tested this on a single rope installed in a single piece of wood and hung over 200 pounds from this installation and it still didn't come apart or distort.

360 Degree Feeding System:
One of the aspects of most bird feeding systems offered today is that your birds only feed from the long edges of the feeder. If you have a two sided feeder, you only get to watch your birds half of the time.  With our 360 Degree Feeding System, you get to watch your birds up to 120% more often.  The sides of each feeder has a seed port bored into it to flow seed to the extended platform at each end of the feeder. Hence, 360 degrees of bird feeding and that much more enjoyment for you.

Drainage Slots:
It's absolutely important that your feeder has positive water drainage. Wet seed will quickly mold, your birds won't eat it and you'll have to throw it away. Every feeder we offer has positive water drainage designed into in some way. The picture below shows our Blue Jay fly-through feeder and it's cut corner water drainage slots. This is our typical drainage slot design. It's very simple yet extremely effective. Melting snow, poring rain, etc. will quickly flow out the corner slots.
